About Us

Founded in 1884 Rootstown schools are some of the oldest in the state.

For several year's membership numbers in the band dropped, but are now rebounding.  In his first year current director, Dan McCloskey fielded just 12 members for marching band - but it continues to grow, with a proposed size of over 75 by 2020.
