Jazz Band is a brand new creation for us at Rootstown - an experiment if you will.  We are hoping to take the best musicians we have as well as those with the most passion and throw them into the world that is jazz.  That means complex ever changing rhythms, improve, fluid changes in time signatures and key, and for the first time introducing vocalist too.  There are jazz band competitions through out the state and country and it's our hope that one day we can compete on the same stage as some of those band.
