High school concert band is the core curriculum course for the band programs in the high school.  Participation is required if you want to play in marching band or jazz band.  For some, it is a chance to hone their skill prior to entering a music major in college, for others a way to continue to enjoy music as a part of their daily life.  Whatever the reason you choose to be here we will challenge you and push you to grow in your skills and as an individual.  Every year from the senior class the band elects officers that oversee the daily operation of the band, this is a great team building and leadership opportunity for young people that they can use for the rest of their lives. 

 

If you have never played an instrument before, perhaps you were in choir in middle school or are coming from a different district - don't worry there is room for you as well.  There is no audition to play in concert band and lessons can be arranged.
